The joint Roman Archaeology Conference / Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference is a participative event where more than half the delegates are speaking, and it is customary that all delegates to RAC/TRAC pay the conference fee.

The RRT and Roman Society are offering a bursary scheme, and bursaries are also available from TRAC.

Please note that by registering for the conference, you are automatically agreeing to abide by the Conference Code of Conduct.

Conference sessions will run from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 April inclusive, with optional excursions on Wednesday 15 and Sunday 19 April.

Please note that members of the Roman Society qualify for a discount on ticket bookings. If you would like to join the Roman Society, please click here. Members receive a copy of the journal (JRS and/or Britannia), Epistula, access to our Library (one of the world’s foremost Classics Libraries with a collection of over 152,000 volumes, and many resource which are available off-site), and invitations to a variety of events, including lectures, conferences and site visits.
